dCS, Sony and VTL
dCS was playing back DSD files from Sony master recordings through its Debussy DAC ($11,499), driving VTL Siegfried monoblocks and a pair of SS-AR1 loudspeakers ($28,000), which were in a half a dozen rooms. The sound was fantastic. I wonder if Sony is going to release the master DSD files anytime soon.
