“Overall the sound of the AbysSound ASX-2000 was neutral and due to its V8-type power relaxed and in full control of even the most demanding loudspeakers. Regarding linearity over the full frequency range, this solid-state amplifier belongs into the league of truly great class D amplifiers like Mola Mola but at a much friendlier price. The Polish amplifier comes with an openness that is sweet and not clinically clean to respect any well-recorded instrument or voice. The build quality is such that it will last for a lifetime just like the components used inside. Dr. Studnicki’s starting point was music and not technology. That is what he succeeded at: a musically very friendly amplifier that respects the incoming signal without fuss and simply amplifies it. ”
